A Michigan native, Minister Ericka C. Davis, is the founder of Expertise Weddings and Events of Las Vegas and Houston. She specialize in speech, speech writing and communications. Her primary duties include notary signing services, ministerial services for weddings, vow renewals and commitment ceremonies and soon pre-marital and post-marital counseling. 

After having spent nearly 16 years in Las Vegas, NV establishing ground breaking, reliable, expert services she and her husband Mark relocated to Houston, TX in July 2018. She travels frequently between Las Vegas and Houston. Mark and Ericka have been married since December 2012. She has a deep passion for family and chose to relocate to support her mother-in-love who is in her end years of severe dementia.


She loves to travel the world, eat amazing food and spend time with her husband and rescue dog, Houston. Her love for LOVE is apparent in each ceremony and has completed over 160 ceremonies since November 2016. She is the winner of 2018 The Knot Best of Weddings and Wedding Wire Couples’ Choice Awards.  

Her academic credentials include two Associate of Arts degrees in Criminal Justice from University of Phoenix and Speech from Cerritos College in Norwalk, CA. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Communications in September of 2017 with Southern New Hampshire University.

A Texas native, Officiant Deana Carroll is happy to join the Expertise Weddings and Events Houston team as of June 2021. She is also a Texas notary. Her primary duties include notary signing services, ministerial services for weddings, vow renewals and commitment ceremonies. 

She is the mother of two. Loves to travel and is a fashionista.


Though she is a new officiant she has completed her first of many ceremonies.
